Can I use TranPOS Software without a touch screen?

Yes. Our TranPOS Software is compatible with just a mouse, keyboard and regular monitor.

Can I process credit cards through TranPOS software?

Yes, we have integrated exclusively with our partner Merchant Warehouse, an American's leading credit card processing company. To take advantage of this feature, all you have to do is open a merchant account with them. Please prefer to our Partner Page for more information.

Do I have to use Merchant Warehouse?

No, you don't have to. If you have your external terminal with other processing provider, you can keep your current service. However, you would not be able to take advantage of Merchant Warehouse services along with wonderful features from TranPOS software for credit card processing integration.

I currently have my own credit card terminal, can I use it?

Are there any restrictions on the demo version?

No, the demo is a full working version of TranPOS Software.

How long is the free trial?

The free trial is 30 days, after that you will have to purchase TranPOS Software to continue using it.

What about upgrades, patches?

Once you've purchased the license, you are entitled to get any upgrades or patches for free as long as you are still the original owner of that license.

Will I lose my data once I purchase?

Once purchased you will not lose any data from your demo period.

What is your return policy on software?

All software sales are final. Because TranPOS Software offers a FREE 30 day evaluation to ensure that this product will meet your needs without the need to purchase, there will be absolutely NO REFUNDS on our software. Before deciding to purchase our software, please be sure to download, install and fully test the evaluation version that we provide.

Unlike physical goods, electronically distributed software cannot be returned once a product key is issued and it has been installed. Accordingly, it is our policy that once we have distributed a release version to a customer, the sale is final, and you may not return the software for a refund or credit.

On the demo what is the default password?

The default password is 1234. This should be changed, for security reasons, when you setup your own database.

Do I need any special hardware?

No, to use TranPOS Software all you need is a computer, monitor and mouse. However, TranPOS Software is specifically designed to work with any touchscreen monitor, cash drawer, and receipt printer.

What is the recommended POS computer configuration?

We recommend that each POS computer have a minimum 512MB RAM, 1.0GHz or higher CPU, have 1 parallel port, 2-3 serial ports, 1-2 PS/2 ports, 4 USB ports and minimum 4 GB hard drive or storage card.

Do I need any additional software?

No, TranPOS Software contains all you need to get up and running.

What are the different price levels?

All levels of TranPOS Software come standard with all features. The price is based on each computer station that TranPOS Software is installed on. However, if you'd like to have your logo to appear on the receipt or main screen POS, then you can purchase it seperately. Please see Purchase page for more details.

Can I resell or re-license my purchased software to another party?

All software is registered only to the company that originally purchased it, and unless you are a registered reseller, TranPOS Software may not be re-sold or re-licensed to any other party.

Do I need to be online?

No, you do not need to be online to use TranPOS Software. However, if you are using credit card payment processing with Merchant Warehouse through TranPOS, then high speed Internet access is required.

What Operating Systems does TranPOS Software run on?

TranPOS Software runs on all versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
